What are Synbiotics?

There are so many scientific terms when it comes to nutrition for your child. One sounds even more difficult than the other.

Synbiotics are probably one of the terms you may have seen or heard before in relation to nutrition for your child, but do you know what it actually means? As the word itself already reveals, it all has to do with synergy.

SYNBIOTICS = PREBIOTICS + PROBIOTICS

When administered in adequate amounts, they work synergistically to help create a healthy gut1. The gut plays a major role in supporting your child’s immune system.

Research shows that C-section children may have an altered microbiota (‘dysbiosis’). Synbio+, which is a combination of prebiotics & probiotics, helps rebalance the gut microbiota to support immune system development and long-term health.
